It takes a village

Some might say I'm lucky. I say I am richly blessed! I have so many friends! So many that I had trouble deciding who to call first when I needed a breather from my kids this morning. First one said Yes, of course. So off to their friend Zoe's they went. I really can't thank her Mama enough for letting us intrude her day (and house!) today. And MORE friends came! It was incredible! The five kids all played while we drank coffee from fancy china teacups and talked and cried together. And I spent some time alone drinking chai and grocery shopping. Then I went to the Botanic Gardens, and laid in the grass, soaking up the sun and seretonin. This day is so much better!
